We are thrilled to celebrate an incredible milestone alongside Kenworth Australia, of whom we are a proud partner for over 50 years. This year marks half a century of Australian commercial vehicle manufacturing for Kenworth Australia, a milestone that has seen more than 70,000 trucks roll off the production line at Bayswater since March 2nd, 1971.

We are extremely pleased to welcome Thomas Anderson, Blake Cook and William Thomas to our workshop, all joining us from a range of backgrounds, from automotive to agriculture. Read more about our 2021 Apprentice Welcome & Graduation evening here.

Australia has some of the most demanding road conditions in the world, with many trucks travelling vast distances on corrugated roads, through billowing dust and extreme heat and humidity. To meet these challenges, a truck needs to be reliable and tough enough to stand the test of time, all while providing operators with a safe, comfortable environment to work in. DAF Trucks Australia received the prestigious Good Design Award Best in Class Accolade in the Product Design Automotive and Transport category in recognition for outstanding design and innovation.

Demonstrating its confidence in the Australian transport industry, PACCAR is working to double the size of its factory facility at Bayswater. This project is well underway, with a capital outlay of $37m and is nearing completion. We are proud to be affiliated with PACCAR, and share their vision for a strong transport industry in our country and the pivotal support it brings to our economy.

Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming our valued new apprentices, with their partners and families at our annual Apprentice Welcome & Graduation Evening. We are extremely pleased to welcome Steven Deer, Matthew Henderson, Domenick Keuning, Hayden Melnik and Hayden Wigzell to our workshop. 

Recently we had the pleasure of hosting some of our most valued customers at CMV Truck Centre, for what was a fantastic evening showcasing two highly anticipated new Kenworth models: the all-new T360 and T410.

PACCAR Australia has had an exciting year so far in 2019, with the launch of two highly anticipated new Kenworth models, debuted at this year’s Brisbane Truck Show.

The 6^th of April 2016 came around very quickly in preparing for our 50 Years of Kenworth Truck Show! It was a balancing act between not disrupting customers and staff over the Friday and Saturday when we set up the stage, food stalls, lawn garden area and trucks. Of course, our industry never stops and we juggled trucks in and out of the workshop, the yard, and around the show.

Last night we had the pleasure of welcoming our valued new apprentices and celebrating the hard work of our graduates, with their partners and families at our annual Apprentice Welcome & Graduation Evening. It is also recognition of the mentors within our business who help to guide and teach our apprentices through to the completion of their trade and beyond.
