Our best night yet! Over 200 customers attended CMV Truck Centre’s Product Information & Customer Appreciation Evening at our Cavan dealership in early November, and we can confidently say this was our best night yet!

As guests approached the dealership building, they could hear the acoustic duo playing, who set the fun and relaxed mood for the evening.

An impressive display of Kenworth Trucks for the Show ‘n’ Shine framed our out-door beer garden and once guests walked between the trucks and through to the event, they were greeted with a view of our impressive pop-up beer garden.

Wine barrels with umbrellas filled the space and created that classic beer garden feel, while red lighting lit up the roof of the service canopy. The new DAF XG and PacLease Kenworth K220 completed the look of the space by standing prominently and proudly behind the wide bar where waitstaff poured icy cold drinks.

Orlando Catering out did themselves with a selection of food for the night out that was of this world! As the night began, guests mingled with each other and CMV Truck Centre staff, while being served heavenly items like the gorgeously juicy porchetta sliders, that had begun cooking on the spit late morning of that day, as well as mouthwatering Portuguese chicken and other amazing options.

We were proud to have 24 suppliers from industry-leading brands set up displays throughout the showroom, giving an impressive “expo” feel.

Guests were encouraged to make their way around the display stalls to chat with the suppliers and check out their products throughout the evening, which in doing so, gave them an entry into the prize draw for a chance to win an array of fantastic items up for grabs – with many of these kindly contributed by the suppliers.

Heath Patten, CMV Truck Centre General Manager, officially welcomed everyone to the evening and thanked everyone for joining us. He also took the opportunity to acknowledge and thank two recently retired team members of CMV Truck Centre - Bob Malusa, Kenworth Truck Salesperson and Wes Bartsch, Parts Assistant Manager. Bob and Wes have over 90 years of experience at CMV and it was fantastic to have the opportunity to celebrate these two hard working individuals with their customers present.

We also had the pleasure of hearing from Mark Santschi, PACCAR Parts Australia General Manager, who took to stage to provide our customers with a holistic overview of PACCAR Parts’ plans for 2025 and how they can support CMV Truck Centre to ensure the best experience for our parts customers now and into the future.

As the night continued, guests were encouraged to check out the Show ‘N’ Shine entrants lined up around the beer garden and vote for their favourite.

With 10 entrants from T909’s to K200’s, it was tough to pick!  Congratulations to Aset Services who took home the Title of ‘Best in Show’ with their Kenworth K125.

As the night continued, Rob Baumann, CMV Truck Centre Parts Operations Manager, took to the stage to draw all the prizes. The contributions to the prize pool from suppliers this year were next level, like the Kings Fridge/Freezer and Kenworth K200 Diecast model!

Thank you again to all our suppliers for taking part in the night. The showroom was completely transformed, and it was great to see all our guests moving around the room learning about the fantastic products available and interacting with the reps.
